The 35th World Amateur Go Championship was hosted in Gyeongju of South Korea on the 4th July to the 11th July, 2014 with our player: HoSoon fighting his best in the 8-rounds competition. To whatever reason our players failed to bring up good performance in the tournament earned only 1-win.

Nevertheless, the results are as followed with Taiwan to win the tournament the first time in the history of World Amateur Go Championship!

The 35th World Amateur Go Championship will be held in Gyeongju of Gyeongsang Province, South Korea from the 4th of July ~ 11th July, 2014. Its the second times for Brunei Darussalam Go Association to participate in this world championship sending Ho Soon (3-kyu) and the Association’s president, Chai Hui (1-dan) as team leader.

Previously (here), Ho Soon had brought proud to the Association in the 2012 Korea Prime Minister Baduk Championship considering its his debut in World Championship – but can he perform better and achieve expectation!?
