The Tournament was first organised in Pusat Belia’s Dewan Silaturrahim today (24th of March, 2012) with supposedly 9 participants from Maktab Duli Go Club, JIS Go Club and an individual from St. Andrew’s school.

The Organiser of tournament was all credited to Chai Hui (Asst. President, 2012) and Chief Referee was En Ru.

KGS Meijin Qualifier was held on the 10th to 11th of March, 2012. Xinwen had taken this opportunity to join the kgs tournament for the first time. (http://www.gokgs.com/tournInfo.jsp?id=684)

The Tournament was set to McMahon without handicap; AGA rules with 7.5 komi; time setting is Japanese 30minutes main time and 15 seconds byo yomi 5 periods.

Figure 1 (1 ~ 26), It was the first time for Xinwen to meet up with Cornel Burzo (7d). The fuseki layout was pretty decent for either player.
